This summer my
girlfriend took me to Las Vegas. A few of my friends were aloud to come too.
There were lots of lots
giant lights and sounds, and a whole lot of people. So many people you wouldn’t
believe!
One day we went to a brewery,
and the only thing they had more of than beer, was cigarette smoke. My
girlfriend is a nurse she says smoking is bad for you cause it gets in your
lungs. This made me think that all the people in Las Vegas might be filled with
smoke. But later when I asked my friend Mason if that was true, he only told me
they were full of something else, but wouldn’t say what.
The second day everyone
had too much to drink. It made me want to take a nap. And we all did! Funny
thing was once we woke back up we did the same thing again the next day. I like
naps.
After that we went to
the pool, it was named after a place where adults go that do too much drugs.
When we were there I overheard a stranger say something like “I spent $500 here
in two hours and I didn’t even get any.” I think he meant nachos, whenever I go
to the pool I usually get them and they are real good.
On the last day we went
to Ceasers Palace so my one other friend Dianna could see the fake roaming
statues.
On the way back to our
hotel we saw a man with a sign that read; “Need money for beer.” I gave him all
the change I had in my pocket. He told me thank you and smiled. But he had forgotten
a lot of his teeth.
He was super nice and
no one had answered my question about what people in Vegas were full of, so I asked.
He told me: regret.
